Calvert County Family Network is Calvert County Government’s Local Management Board (LMB), under the Department of Community Resources. This year, the LMB is funding Southern Maryland Community Network to provide Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and adolescents. This is an evidence-based treatment option for children diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, that provides additional support to parents/caregivers. The LMB also facilitates the Calvert County Local Care Team (LCT), an interagency team that works collaboratively to provide families of youth with intensive behavioral health needs the necessary resources for success. Families can self-refer for children of all ages, and up to 21 years old if they are still in school.
