Eligibility Requirements
- Individual needs to be medically stable
- Individual needs to have been seen by a mental health clinician within 24 hours of admission
- Police officers will come and evaluate whether an individual meets emergency petition criteria if 911 is called or
- A petition for emergency evaluation needs to be filed by any interested person (e.g., family, friend)
