Key discoveries in neuroscience have revealed a more comprehensive and sophisticated understanding of the impact of trauma on the developing brain. Participants will learn how damage to the brain may manifest itself in observable behavior by the traumatized child in the cognitive, emotional and social arenas. Participants will learn intervention strategies for treating children with trauma histories.
All participants will receive the book: "The Explosive Child: A New Approach for Understanding and Parenting Easily Frustrated, Chronically Inflexible Children" by Dr.Ross Greene.
