Calvert Library’s mission is to empower individuals by facilitating lifelong learning and to strengthen our community by providing opportunities for connection to one another and the world. This mission is pursued by providing a wide variety of materials, classes and services that are accessible through our physical buildings, our digital presence and our outreach. Calvert Library has four locations throughout the county (Solomons, Prince Frederick, Owings and Chesapeake Beach), plus a Mobile Services library. Our librarians regularly answer questions and make referrals for citizens in need of services, and a local and up-to-date resource website will be an asset to our community.
